Yeah, I would probably run you over too.

The other day I was driving to work on a very busy street and happened to spot a small box turtle slowly making his way across the road….most likely in search of food. He had made it half way and was awkwardly sitting on the yellow lanes that separated the rat race roadway. I immediately swerved off the road and began to turn around to get him across safely. After I turned around and got back to the spot there was a middle-aged woman who had beat me to him and picked him up safely. I rolled my window down, thanked her and was extremely happy to see that there was at least one more person out there who gives a shit about animals welfare. I wish all people could see the beauty in the variety of animals we have around us, no matter where we live. I don’t understand how so many animals can be killed every day and then be left to sit and rot on the side of our disgusting and dangerous traffic filled roads.

Ever wonder why animals that are killed by passing cars are always left to sit there? Have you ever stopped for a second to acknowledge the fact that there is less and less room for the other creatures on this planet to live? I for one am tired of seeing at least one new dead animal in one of the roads on my way to work. I understand that sometimes the occasional squirrel will run out into the road, but is every death really unavoidable? Most of us care so much for our dogs and cats but we are blind to all of the other creatures that we share the planet with. Blind to the fact that all of these creatures have the capacity to be a companion in even a small way. We love to pick and choose which animals are worthy of our mercy & help and which are disposable.

I don’t even know where I am going with this post but people need to slow the fuck down and respect other living creatures. If you see an animal in the road STOP and let it figure out where its going. Try to imagine you were born a squirrel instead of an O-so important human. Try to help nature out, try to imagine what this world would be like if there were NO OTHER ANIMALS LEFT. That is what we are doing.

You'll still make it to work if you DON'T run anything over.

These creatures were NEVER meant to be kept in swimming pools.

Anyone else see the cover of the NY Post today Feb 25th 2010?? “KILLER WHALE”? What a fucking joke. I am so tired of ~IDIOT~ humans demonizing animals when something like this happens. How do you expect a 16-32 ft 17,000 pd whale to NOT go a little crazy trapped in a fucking glorified swimming pool!!!!!! Let the goddamn things free to LIVE & SWIM and no more “precious” humans will be hurt.

This is the same response as when the Tiger mauled that drunk moron that climbed in its cage… yeah ….blame the tiger, that has been trapped and caged by humans its’ entire life. Humans are so much more destructive & disgusting than ANY animal.. and trust me ALL ANIMALS know at least that much. What would you do if you were in their place…or have you ever even thought about that? Or wait….animals don’t have feelings and/or emotions right? They don’t “know” whats going on when we trap, torture and kill these poor creatures for gross, selfish, ridiculous reasons..right?

How can you blame animals for their treatment of us when we treat them worse than we treat the most evil and terrible humans on the planet? Being a human is largely embarrassing. It is so painfully obvious to me that NO ANIMALS belong in cages yet we all just play this big game of make-believe with living creatures because WE have DESTROYED ALL of THEIR natural habitat. Epic FAIL. We all need to WAKE-UP!!

50 Billion and 1,680:

Worldwide, the yearly slaughter count is more than 50 billion. Every second, 1,680 animals are killed for food.
Most farmed animals are killed when they are barely adolescents or even younger, such as the “broiler” chickens raised for meat who are slaughtered at only 6–7 weeks old.

250 Million Chicks:

The U.S. egg industry suffocates, gases, or grinds up alive 250 million male chicks each year; they are not profitable because they will never produce eggs and are not bred to grow at an unnatural speed like broiler chickens.

5.5 Million Calves:

The 4.5 million calves in Europe and 1 million calves in the United States annually destined to become veal are forcibly pulled away from their mothers—dairy cows—within hours, or at most 1–2 days, of birth. The milk produced naturally by the mother’s body for her calf, who normally would suckle for 6 to 12 months, is to be taken for sale to humans, so the calf is fed nutritionally deficient formula. His movement is severely restricted, to give his flesh the texture and color desired by human consumers.

90 Percent of Soybeans and 80 Percent of Corn:

More than 90 percent of soybean meal grown in the United States is used to feed animals being raised for human food; these animals also consume 80 percent of corn grown in the United States.

Why do we keep letting this happen.....like we can't make it stop?

I have always loved the majesty of the Big Cats. These animals are among the most beautiful creatures on the planet..and we are letting them slip away.

Tigers could become extinct in the wild in less than a generation, the World Wildlife Fund warned Wednesday as it launched a campaign to save them.

The number of tigers in the wild has dwindled to 3,200 — less than the number held in captivity in the United States alone, the campaigners said.

“There is a real threat of losing this magnificent animal forever in our lifetime,” said Sybille Klenzendorf, director of the WWF-US species conservation program. “This would be like losing the stars in the sky.

“Three tiger subspecies have gone extinct, and another, the South China tiger, has not been seen in the wild in 25 years,” she told reporters.

“Unless we really crack down on illegal trade and poachers, tigers in the wild have very little chance,” said a World Bank official involved in the campaign to save the big cats.

“If the tigers disappear, it is an indication of a comprehensive failure,” he said. “It’s not just about tigers. If you save the tiger, you are going to save other species. It provides an excellent indicator of commitment to biodiversity. “If they survive, it shows we are doing our job right. If they disappear, it shows we are just talking,” he said.

If you have not seen this movie I highly recommend that you take an hour or so out of your busy life to learn the truth about where your food is coming from. It is a movie that will quite literally change your perception of the world. If you like my content & site at all watch it for me. It will sting but you will come out a better & more healthy person. The Jersey Shores Stray Cats.

While those clown-ass Guidos were fist pumping and perfecting their “blow-outs”, there were hundreds of stray cats trying to find food that fell through the cracks of the boardwalk. If everyone would just Wake-up and help them out it would be a much better world. If tyou were starving you would want some help right? Man-up people…these are living creatures each with different personalties. They need our help and I will be glad to be the one to deliver them their food every night…I’m 3 minutes away from Seaside Heights. Just wanted to throw it out there to see if any one wants to help.
